Gasschieber Position?

Hi, I dismantled my carburetor a few days ago. It is a "Typ N 22-2 Flachschieber".
I started to put it back together but I forgot the position of the Gasschieber.
Should it be installed with the cutout facing the air filter or should the cutout face the head of the bike?
