Batterie oder nicht?

Hi everyone.

I was hoping to keep my bike as close to original as possible. Sadly, the electrics are in such poor shape that I had to compromise and use modern parts.

I bought the alternator and ignition system from VAPE based on the good reviews it gets on this forum.

My question for the group is about the battery. Since the system is capable of working without a battery, is there any reason why I would need or want a battery?
The manufacturer's instructions only mention the battery as optional.

I recommend using a smoothing capacitor, also recommended by Vape.

Hallo allerseits.

Ich hatte gehofft, mein bike so original wie möglich zu halten. Leider ist die Elektrik in einem so schlechten Zustand, dass ich Kompromisse eingehen und moderne Teile verwenden musste.

Ich habe die Lichtmaschine und die Zündanlage von VAPE aufgrund der guten Kritiken in diesem Forum gekauft.

Meine Frage an die Gruppe betrifft die Batterie. Gibt es einen Grund, warum ich eine Batterie benötigen oder wollen würde, da das System ohne Batterie arbeiten kann?
In den Anweisungen des Herstellers wird der Akku nur als optional angegeben.

Ich habe eine Batterie drin

Passt genau hochkant in das Gehäuse und du hast die Möglichkeit im Deckel ein kleines USB Modul einzubauen.
So habe ich immer die Möglichkeit mein Handy oder ähnliches zu laden.
