Passenger Seat

Hi folks, how to remove this shaft from the passenger's seat?
I tried to hammer it out but it didn't move.
Maybe it is fixed in there with something?
Or maybe it is welded inside?
See photo below.

Hi Biker,
may be there is a rest from such a grease nipple left in the hole.
It would make no sense to weld there anything.
I would use a 6mm drill for cleaning the hole and a nice hammer for the rest of the job.
Good luck!

Thanks, guys!
I already sprayed it with WD40.
Will try what krachbumm425 advised me - heat up the tube around the shaft.

well, I have them sit several times restored.
I have it repaired as always.
of course you need a real burner, propane or acetylene.

I tried with a hot air gun. The shaft moved just a little bit.
Will try with a propane burner.
