The clutchbar are activate to the gearbox...only on the last centimeter you will feel a counterforce.
It could be that the pressure rod are depends on basis of rust!
What happen when you kick the starter level?
Greats

Yes, it only shows resistence in the last centimeter of its range.
BUT!
How does it pull back the clutch cable and how does it open the clutch handle if it only moves for only one centimeter?
I have another gear box and its lever moves all the way back (this allows it to pull the cable and to open the clutch handle on the handle bar).

Hi,
please, look for the plunger rod (red Line) and the ball bearing. Is this existent?
The plunger rod press the clutch.
Between this plunger rod is the ball bearing, and the clutch lever with Screw.

Hi BikerWannabe,
there is a bolt attached at the lever, you move in your movie.
This bolt, you tighten until it bottoms out at the pressure rod.

Thanks, EISENHAMMER.
I not only want to tighten the rod so it doesn't swing loosely, but I also want to make it go back and thus tighten the clutch cable.
I believe that the clutch works OK now (in its 1 cm of range), but its looseness keeps the cable and the clutch handle sloppy - the rod doesn't pull them back.

Hey guys, I fixed it!
EISENHAMMER was right - it was all a matter of setting-up the clutch movement range from the bolt.
Now, the clutch goes all the way back and pulls the clutch handle.
It moves quite heavy and the handle is hard to squeeze but this is due to the old cable, yes.
I will replace it soon.
Thanks for all the help!

Your bike looks like needing much more attention than fixing the clutch?
Lets see a pic from the whole stuff.
How did you achieve an AWO in USA?

Andreas
