You can use any 1 cyl. Magnets , with an appropriate adapter. Junak Magnets are also attached different !
Why do not you use the original Magnet ? Complete Awo-magnets there are often on E-Bay.In Bulgaria there are certainly specialists to repair the magnets for little money ! Or not ? I think this is the best way for you.Without tinkering and good function !

forumsprache ist deutsch, kann mir mal jemand verklickern um was es hier geht, bin zu faul alles übersetzen zu lassen.

hallo leute! gebe da inge volkommen recht wir sind hier in einem forum was in deutschland is und 99% aller angemeldeten sind von hier! also kan er sich ja de text übersetzen stat wir für ihn! immerhin gibts bestimmt etliche von der älteren genaration die hier anwesend sind dies mit englisch net so ham da se in der schule nur russisch hatten!

You are completely right, of course.
But... original AWO magnetos are hard to find where I live - people just refuse to sell them and keep them for themselves.
On the other hand, most sellers on eBay.DE will not ship abroad. They stick to "Deutschland Nur".
I talked to several guys on ebay and they were all like: "Sorry, no shipping outside of Germany".
So, I am left with no choice but to look for alternatives.

I was told that a magneto from a tractor is not a good choice as it doesn't have some sort of regulator in it. This missing regulator is something that changes the advance angle when the spin frequency of the engine changes.

Do you want to keep the EMW engine or do you want to replace it by an AWO engine?
Both require differnet magnetos.

sorry eine EMW hat keinen Magneten, sondern Batteriezündung. Also nix Magnet.

Just almost two AWOs (disassembled in tiny bits).

the Engine, carb, aircleaner and gearbox are EMW/BMW R35.!!!!

I found the photo on the internet.
At first I thought that it was a Simson AWO so I was curios about how it ignites.
But it turned out to be an EMW and now I know that EMW's use a battery.

Unfortunately, my problem is with with my Simson AWO 425T, not with the unknown EMW bobber from the pic.
